Chinchilla is 4413, Brigalow 4412, Miles 4415, Condamine 4416 and Wandoan 4419. Town blocks are mostly flat and large enough for a 20ft down the side, with the usual catch being the power line across the back of an older drive. The tray rises high as it tips.
Out of town the uses split. Farms want chemicals, melon-season gear and tools locked up. Energy projects want a site store that stays for the campaign and then goes. Both are delivered to the pad. The grade and the length should be decided before the truck is booked. As-is is the cheaper grade and is not sold as watertight.
Chinchilla sits in the middle of the Surat Basin gas fields, and a good part of the demand here comes from contractors as much as landholders. The brief is nearly always the same: lockable steel storage that can be dropped at a laydown yard or well-pad site, used for the length of a campaign and then taken away or moved to the next job. Long-term hire suits that pattern. Companies with a permanent yard in town tend to buy — a used cargo-worthy 20ft for tools and consumables, or a 40ft where pipe, fittings and pallets need to go under lock.
If you are storing fuels, oils, solvents or other classified goods, a standard container is not the right product. Ask us about dangerous goods containers, which are built with ventilation and spill containment for that purpose, and check the requirements that apply to your site.
Away from gas, this is grain, cattle and — famously — melon country. Growers use containers for cartons, irrigation tape and fittings, chemicals and picking gear between seasons. Graziers out towards Wandoan and Condamine want the same thing graziers want everywhere: somewhere vermin and light fingers cannot get at the vet supplies, tools and saddlery. Used cargo-worthy grade is the standard choice and is sold wind and watertight. As-is units are not sold as watertight and suit only rough storage.
Distances are long and a wasted trip is expensive for everyone, so we would sooner ask too many questions than too few. Useful things to tell us: the nearest town and highway (the Warrego runs east–west through Chinchilla and Miles; the Leichhardt runs north to Wandoan), whether the last stretch is sealed, gravel or black soil, the width of any gates or grids, and whether lines cross the track. On gas-field sites, tell us about inductions, escorts or access hours in advance. A tilt-tray needs roughly 15m of straight, firm run to unload a 20ft; the full list is on our delivery page. Delivery is quoted with the container, and it varies with distance and with what the truck finds at your end.

Miles 4415 and Chinchilla 4413 are both delivered to the address on the quote. The road between them is a local road. The grade is named before the truck is booked.
